Booking a portrait

Booking a custom pet portrait is simple! Just fill out the contact form or email me directly at paperwhiskersart@gmail.com to get started. I'll send you a price list so you can choose the option that best suits your needs.  A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the artwork, with the final 50% due once your portrait is complete. Payment plans can be arranged if required. Portraits typically take between 2-3 weeks to finish. I look forward to creating a beautiful keepsake of your furry family member!

Sending a photo of your pet

In order to produce the best likeness that I can, I require clear, high-quality photographs (digital preferred, though I can work with physical copies if needed). Providing several images of each pet helps me capture their unique personality, colors, and markings accurately. While I can work from lower-quality photos if necessary, please understand that it may limit the level of detail I can achieve in the final portrait. Photos can be sent to me by email paperwhiskersart@gmail.com.

Postage

Postage within the UK is included in the price of your portrait commission. Each portrait is mounted, securely wrapped and posted in a hard backed envelope clearly marked as fragile to ensure safe delivery. All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail Signed For service. I also offer local delivery or collection options if you are in West Yorkshire. For international shipping, please contact me for a custom quote.

Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.
Payment of your deposit signifies acceptance of these terms.

  • All artwork is original and created by the artist.
  • The artist retains all copyright, media use, and reproduction rights.
  • Reproduction or any other use of the artwork must be agreed upon with the artist in advance.
  • Artwork will only commence once a non-refundable deposit is received.
  • Upon completion, an image of the artwork will be sent for review, and full payment is expected within 30 days (unless a payment plan is arranged beforehand).
  • If payment is not received within 30 days, the artist reserves the right to sell the original artwork and any reproductions.
  • Price lists are subject to change, but the prices quoted in the list you received are valid for 30 days.
  • Good quality reference photos must be provided at the time of booking to ensure suitability for the portrait.
  • The artist reserves the right to decline to complete a portrait if suitable reference materials are not provided (in such cases, any deposit paid will be refunded).
  • Clients are responsible for any customs duties, fees incurred or other additional charges related to shipping.
